Accounting Executive

  • Manage our A/R and A/P process
  • Track payments from customers
  • Collect payment from overdue clients
  • Manage our monthly financial closing process
  • Review bank, credit card and PayPal monthly transactions in Quickbooks Online
  • Maintain files for financial statements, bank statements, cap tables, investor presentations and meeting minutes
  • Coordinate with our firm accountants
  • Assist with keeping PurpleRain compliant with Central, state and local tax and filing requirements
  • Review and obtain appropriate manager approvals for employee expense reimbursement requests.
  • Liaise with our legal counsel to manage equity and other contracts
  • Work with our engineers to select, implement and manage new back-office technology and vendors.
  • To coordinate all accounting activities associated with the general Ledger particularly fixed assets, inter-company, inventory, cash and bank.
  • Identify risks or opportunities to revenues, cost and profitability and propose appropriate actions.
  • Reconcile all accounts as needed. Interface with outside accounting experts such as tax CPA, auditors.
  • Organizes documents in a systematical manner

Requirements:

  • 1 to 3 years experience in Accounting required.
  • Experience in International Accounting will be a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong accounting skills
  • Knowledge sales order, delivery or billing processes a plus
  • Experience in testing or preparing and documenting of test scenarios a plus
  • Dynamic and team-oriented personality with excellent communication skills (fluent English mandatory)
  • Ability to communicate and interact effectively across all levels and functions
  • Ability to quickly grasp changes to complex business processes in a dynamic environment
